Baku: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Uzbekistan’s University of Innovation Technologies (UIT). The agreement outlines a collaborative effort to enhance educational and research initiatives between the two institutions.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the memorandum calls for the organization of joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposia, short-term courses, and training programs. These initiatives aim to improve the teaching and learning processes, aligning them with international standards. Additionally, the agreement includes provisions for collaborative scientific research and co-authoring publications in scientific journals.
The memorandum also details plans to develop joint academic programs, curricula, and syllabi, as well as facilitate the exchange of academic staff between the universities. The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and UIT Rector A’zamov Anvar, marking a significant step in fostering academic ties between the two nations.
