State-Owned Enterprises in Azerbaijan to Start Paying Dividends from Next Year


Baku: State-owned enterprises in Azerbaijan will begin paying dividends from net profit starting next year, APA-Economics reports, citing the Ministry of Finance.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, state-owned enterprises will pay dividends to the state budget amounting to 30% of their net profit. Dividend payments will be forecast starting from the current year and will be transferred to the state budget beginning in 2027.



State-owned enterprises with low profits, those temporarily exempted by the President, companies whose shares are listed on foreign stock exchanges, and enterprises whose total capital is lower than their charter capital will be exempt from dividend payments to the state budget for the relevant period.
