Baku: The State Migration Service has addressed foreigners visiting Azerbaijan in connection with WUF13, the SMS told APA. Foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the country with a WUF13 visa or visa-free by registering through the United Nations Human Settlements Programme are exempt from the requirement to register at their place of stay in the Republic of Azerbaijan for a period of 30 days.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this exemption aims to facilitate a smooth experience for international participants attending the World Urban Forum 13. The decision is part of Azerbaijan’s efforts to accommodate guests and ensure a welcoming environment during the global event.
The WUF13, a significant event for discussions on sustainable urban development, is expected to draw a large number of participants from various nations. The exemption from registration requirements is intended to streamline the arrival process and reduce administrative burdens for those attending the forum.
