Spring-Summer Season at Azerbaijan Airports: New Destinations and Increased Flights

Baku: From March 30, 2025, Heydar Aliyev International Airport and Azerbaijan’s regional airports will transition to the spring-summer flight schedule, which will remain in effect until October 25. The new season will bring an increase in flight frequency, expansion of the route network, and more convenient connection options for passengers.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this season, passengers will have access to flights operated by 35 airlines to more than 70 destinations, including major cities across Europe, the Middle East, Trkiye, Central Asia, and South Asia. Among the new destinations are Berlin, Frankfurt, Paris, Doha, Tel Aviv, and Delhi. Passengers can also fly to popular locations in the UAE like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, as well as other international destinations such as Beijing and Minsk.

Heydar Aliyev International Airport continues to strengthen its position as the region’s leading aviation hub by enhancing optimal connections for transit passengers. The new flight schedule has reduced waiting times and optimized flight connections, providing greater convenience for passengers traveling to third countries.

The spring-summer flight schedule also brings expansion to regional airports in Azerbaijan. The number of flights from these airports will increase, and new routes will be added, further enhancing connectivity within the region.

Due to the high demand for flights during the summer season, passengers are advised to book their flights in advance. To avoid unnecessary delays at the airport and ensure a smooth travel experience, passengers can use online pre-registration and self-service kiosks for check-in and baggage drop-off. It is also recommended that passengers check the current flight schedule and stay informed about any changes on the official websites of the respective airlines.
