Since its inception in October 2018, STAR Refinery has been recognized as Trkiye’s largest real-sector capital investment, integrating oil refining with the petrochemical industry. By the end of 2024, the facility had increased its annual crude oil processing capacity to 13 million tons. Additionally, its naphtha production has become a key supplier for the Petkim petrochemical complex, fulfilling nearly all of its feedstock requirements.
