Baku: Serbia is trying to make the most of the Eurasian corridors, especially the Middle Corridor, said Serbian Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade Jagoda Lazarevic during her speech at the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum held within ‘See Breeze,’ APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Lazarevic emphasized that Serbia depends on routes due to its geographical location. Although strategically positioned, Serbia lacks direct access to ports, prompting efforts to enhance its connectivity through infrastructure development. Over the past 12 years, Serbia has focused on building railway lines and major highways to facilitate better access to European corridors, and ultimately, to Asia.
The minister highlighted ongoing efforts to establish cooperation with Asian markets, underscoring the significance of these corridors in Serbia’s trade strategy. The emphasis on utilizing the Middle Corridor reflects Serbia’s commitment to expanding its trade routes and fostering international partnerships.
