Scandalous Video of Former ICJ Prosecutor Luis Ocampo, Known for Bias Against Azerbaijan, Surfaces

Brussels: A scandalous video of Luis Ocampo, former prosecutor of the UN’s International Court of Justice, known for his bias and near-hostility toward Azerbaijan, has surfaced.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, with reference to Minval Politika, disgrace in European politics continues. The sensational video footage obtained by Minval Politika clearly demonstrates the extent of the Armenian lobby’s activity within European institutions and the level of corruption at the highest leadership of the European Union. The footage features former UN International Court of Justice prosecutor Luis Ocampo and his son Tomas. Both speak very openly and bluntly about their goals and the tools they use to achieve them.

Luis Ocampo, an Argentine citizen who left his prosecutorial post amid a major scandal, has recently turned into a paid lobbyist for Armenian interests. This individual is ready to do anything to fulfill the orders of his new sponsors-from spreading blatant fakes and falsehoods to manipulating xenophobia and Islamophobia. Previously, there have been extensive reports on his activities.

However, the scandal surrounding the now-retired prosecutor is taking on new dimensions. During the conversation, Ocampo’s son openly states their objective: ‘What we need to achieve is to remove Pashinyan, the Prime Minister.’ Additionally, Luis Ocampo’s remarks in the video indicate his influence in shaping European policy through connections in the European Parliament, including a former member who previously served as a legal adviser.

The video further reveals that Ocampo is planning to force the European Commission, through the European Court, to cancel its agreement with Azerbaijan by speculating around the topic of ‘human rights.’ This campaign is reportedly financed by Armenian oligarchs living in Russia and involves high-ranking EU officials.

Moreover, one of the key figures in this campaign is former EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell and his circle. Information about other members of the European Parliament involved in this campaign is also in possession of the editorial team.

In accordance with journalistic ethics, Minval Politika is ready to publish Ocampo’s position to clarify the situation. The editorial team plans to send official inquiries to the European Parliament and other EU institutions to obtain comments regarding this scandal.

It is expected that the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the Belgian special services will investigate these alleged facts of corruption. Armenian media is also expected to investigate this issue domestically.

The activities of Ocampo and his network show that their target is not only Baku. Yerevan and the fragile balance emerging in the region are also in focus, signaling an attempt to disrupt the peace process and return the situation to a scenario of controlled destabilization.
