Paris:Renowned photojournalist Reza Deghati sustained an arm injury while documenting protests in Paris.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Deghati revealed the details of his injury during an interview, stating that he is still experiencing pain which limits the movement of his arm.
Deghati noted that he has never before encountered riots of such magnitude. He described scenes of looting, where stores of famous brands were ransacked, leaving a sportswear and equipment shop almost empty, with other nearby properties also sustaining damage. The French public is demanding governmental action to prevent future occurrences and to identify and prosecute those responsible. Reports indicate that some participants in the unrest were minors, prompting discussions about the legal responsibility of underage individuals. Efforts to assess the destruction and ensure accountability for the damages remain priorities.
