Paris:Renowned photojournalist Reza Deghati was injured in the arm while covering protests in Paris.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the photojournalist shared in an interview that he still cannot move his arm comfortably due to the pain.
Deghati noted that he had never before witnessed riots on such a scale. He described the looting of stores belonging to famous brands, with a shop selling sportswear and equipment left almost empty. Other nearby properties were also damaged.
French society is demanding action from the government to prevent such incidents. There is a call for those involved in the unrest to be identified and brought to justice. It was reported that some participants in the riots were under 18, leading to discussions on the legal liability of minors. Additionally, assessing the damage and ensuring those responsible are held accountable are also priorities.
