Ankara: The Republic Tower in Ankara was illuminated in the colors of the national flag of Azerbaijan to honor the cherished memory of the martyrs of the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the initiative was implemented by the leadership of Ankara’s Ke§i¶ren Municipality as a gesture of solidarity with Azerbaijan regarding the genocide committed by Armenian-Dashnak armed groups in March-April 1918.
The Azerbaijani Embassy in Trkiye expressed its gratitude to Ke§i¶ren Municipality for this meaningful gesture of solidarity and brotherhood.
