Baku: Elchin Amirbayov, the Representative of the President of Azerbaijan for Special Assignments, has held a meeting with Edmondo Cirielli, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions focused on regional and international developments, as well as strengthening political and economic cooperation between Rome and Baku in strategic areas. The sides also exchanged views in preparation for the planned visit of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
The talks were held within the framework of the Action Plan signed in January.
