Khachmaz: The remains of Mazahir Khalig Karimov, a soldier who went missing during the First Karabakh War, have been handed over to his family. The remains were brought to the Charkhi village of Khachmaz district, where a farewell ceremony was held in his honor.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Karimov was subsequently laid to rest in the Usta Jalilli village cemetery, also located in the Khachmaz district. Born in 1970 in the Usta Jalilli village, Karimov went missing on February 18, 1994, in the direction of Murovdagh during the battles for Kalbajar.
