Mingachevir: The remains of Asaddin Juru Novruzov, who was missing during the First Karabakh War, have been returned to his family and buried in Mingachevir. The solemn event was reported by APA’s Karabakh local office.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a farewell ceremony for the martyr was held before the burial. The remains of Asaddin Novruzov were laid to rest in the Alley of Martyrs in Mingachevir. The ceremony included a military tribute with a volley of gunfire and the playing of the National Anthem by a military orchestra.
The ceremony was attended by Novruzov’s relatives and representatives from the public in Mingachevir and the Aghdam district. As a mark of respect and honor, the national flag that draped the martyr’s coffin was ceremoniously presented to his son.
Asaddin Juru Novruzov was born in 1939 and went missing on March 12, 1992, in the village of Bash Guneypeya, located in the Aghdara district, the place of his birth.
