London: An education affairs adviser has been appointed to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Rashad Khanlarov has been appointed to this position.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Rashad Khanlarov previously served as the head of the Department for Citizen Services and Documentation at the Ministry of Science and Education. He has also held managerial positions in various international companies and worked as the director of the Baku State Vocational Education Center for Industry and Innovations.
Education affairs advisers are appointed to some Azerbaijani embassies to promote educational opportunities in Azerbaijan, develop educational cooperation with foreign countries, support Azerbaijani citizens studying abroad, and protect their educational rights. They also ensure relevant coordination in these areas.
