Qatar and Kazakhstan Hold Talks to Boost Economic and Trade Ties


Astana: The seventh session of the Qatari-Kazakh Joint Higher Committee convened in Astana, focusing on strategies to enhance economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Qatar and Kazakhstan. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, led the Qatari delegation. His Excellency Mr. Arman Kasenov, Deputy Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, headed the Kazakh side. The session saw participation from several senior officials from both nations.



According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed highlighted the robust bilateral relations between Qatar and Kazakhstan in his opening remarks. He pointed out that the committee serves as a crucial platform for reinforcing strategic ties and expanding partnerships across various key sectors.



The meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to capitalize on existing opportunities and explore new avenues for collaboration, aiming to foster a more integrated economic relationship.
