Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Moscow is on the verge of unveiling a new weapon for its extensive nuclear arsenal, the largest in the world.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Putin emphasized that Russia is advancing its nuclear deterrence capabilities. He noted that if the United States chooses not to extend a significant arms control treaty voluntarily, it would not pose a critical issue for Russia.
Putin stated, as reported by state news agency TASS, “The sophistication of our nuclear deterrence systems is higher than that of any other nuclear state. And we are developing all of this very actively. What I spoke about in earlier years is all progressing-we are bringing it to perfection.”
