Baku: In January-September of this year, 1,067.54 thousand tons of AI-92 motor gasoline were produced in Azerbaijan, which is a 2.1% increase compared to the same period last year, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, 13.8 thousand tons of AI-95 motor gasoline were produced during the reporting period, which is a 45.02% decrease compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. This decline in AI-95 production contrasts with the overall increase in motor gasoline production in the country.
A total of 1,081.3 thousand tons of motor gasoline were produced in Azerbaijan during January-September of this year, marking a 1% increase compared to the same period last year. The data indicates a shift in production focus or demand dynamics within the domestic market for different grades of gasoline.
