Presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan Visit Sea Breeze Resort on Caspian Coast

Baku: Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan recently visited the Sea Breeze resort on the Caspian Sea coast. Emin Agalarov, the founder of Sea Breeze, provided the leaders with an overview of both completed and upcoming projects at the resort.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Sea Breeze spans 500 hectares and has already developed over 3 million square meters of real estate. The resort has constructed more than 500 properties that house over 20,000 residents. By 2028, the population is expected to surpass 50,000, with a long-term vision of accommodating 500,000 people upon full project completion. Notably, the plans include a unique crescent-shaped artificial peninsula covering 50 hectares.

The resort dedicates over 150 hectares to recreational zones, parks, and beaches. Essential infrastructure such as a school, kindergarten, and hospital is also part of the development, ensuring residents and visitors enjoy both comfort and leisure. Landscaping efforts have seen the planting of approximately 10 million plants and trees, expanding green areas to 300 hectares.

Situated just 30 minutes from Baku’s city center, Sea Breeze is regarded as a unique global project, integrating various real estate types primarily along the coastline. The resort currently employs 6,560 people, with future plans to significantly increase staffing. Total investment has reached $3 billion, with an additional $10 billion planned over the next five years. The resort also features ‘The Choyxona’, a well-known Uzbek brand restaurant.

Emin Agalarov also introduced the updated master plan for the Sea Breeze Uzbekistan project, which is set to develop near the Charvak Reservoir.
