Lachin: Presidents of Azerbaijan and Trkiye and the Prime Minister of Pakistan visited the promenade in Lachin city on May 28, according to APA reports. The visit by Ilham Aliyev, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was marked by a tour of an exhibition at the promenade.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Turkish President and Pakistani Prime Minister were briefed about the historical significance of May 28, when President Ilham Aliyev had previously handed over keys to homes for former internally displaced persons in Lachin. The exhibition highlighted products from various enterprises that have been established in the region.
The products showcased included those from the ‘Lachin’ Agro-Industrial Park, the ‘PIRSHAGHI’ shoe factory, the Lachin branch of the ‘Gilabi Ceramics’ Creative Center, and the ‘LATIFA’ Lachin garment factory. Other exhibits featured contributions from ‘Baku Landscaping Service,’ an essential oil plant, the ‘Nakhishli’ sewing house, the Livestock Breeding Selection Center in Lachin, and the ‘Hakari’ fishery enterprise. The exhibition was dedicated to May 28 – Independence Day.
