President of Uzbekistan Engages in Phone Dialogue with Azerbaijani Counterpart


Tashkent: Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, engaged in a phone dialogue with Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The conversation took place on April 5, as reported by APA.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the dialogue between the two heads of state focused on significant issues concerning both bilateral and multilateral relations. The leaders underscored the necessity to expedite the execution of projects across economic, trade, investment, and humanitarian sectors.



Additionally, the presidents shared perspectives on organizing future high-level meetings to further bolster their cooperation. The discussion also covered regional collaboration, particularly in relation to the Organization of Turkic States and the Economic Cooperation Organization, reflecting a shared commitment to regional stability and development.
