Washington: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will attend the Central Asia-U.S. summit in Washington, D.C., on November 6, according to Akorda’s press service, Trend reports.
According to Trend News Agency, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump for the invitation to participate in the summit through a letter. The Kazakhstani leader emphasized the importance of this initiative, considering it timely.
Tokayev also conveyed his support for the main goals of President Trump’s domestic and foreign policy. He specifically highlighted his agreement with the upholding of traditional values based on principles of common sense and Trump’s efforts to protect peace and security.
