Baku: The President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on the occasion of his birthday.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Radev extended warm congratulations and expressed his belief in the continued development of the strategic partnership and relations between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan. He reflected on past meetings with President Aliyev, highlighting the constructive and friendly atmosphere that has fostered strong bilateral and multilateral relations.
President Radev expressed hope for President Aliyev’s visit to Bulgaria for the opening of Shusha Park in Veliko Tarnovo in 2026, despite Bulgaria’s current political challenges. He also commended President Aliyev’s contribution to the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) and looked forward to continued high-level dialogue, including Azerbaijan’s hosting of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
In closing, President Radev wished President Aliyev good health, prosperity, and success, reaffirming his highest consideration and respect.
