Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, in celebration of Qatar’s national holiday, APA reports. In his letter, President Aliyev highlighted the robust nature of Azerbaijan-Qatar relations, emphasizing their foundation in shared religious and cultural values, brotherhood, and Islamic solidarity.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his optimism about the future of the bilateral ties between the two nations. He noted the importance of continuing joint efforts to strengthen interstate relations characterized by mutual trust and support. The Azerbaijani leader also underscored the potential for both countries to benefit from their cooperation on both bilateral and multilateral fronts.
In his congratulatory message, President Aliyev extended his best wishes to the Amir, wishing him health, happiness, and success in his leadership. He also conveyed his hopes for enduring peace and prosperity for the people of Qatar.
