Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Miguel Daz-Canel Bermºdez, President of the Republic of Cuba, as his country celebrates the national holiday, Liberation Day. The message underscores the intentions for continued advancement of Azerbaijan-Cuba relations, highlighting the friendship and cooperation shared by the two countries.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his belief that the relations between Azerbaijan and Cuba, which are founded on longstanding traditions, will strengthen further in a spirit of collaboration. This cooperation is anticipated to extend both bilaterally and multilaterally, aligning with the interests of the peoples of both nations.
The Azerbaijani President also took the opportunity to convey his New Year wishes for 2026 to President Daz-Canel, offering his congratulations and best wishes. President Aliyev wished the Cuban leader robust health, success in his endeavors, and continued peace and prosperity for the people of Cuba.
