The meeting, which took place on September 22, focused on the current state and future prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the investment firm.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized Azerbaijan’s commitment to strengthening ties with international financial institutions and prominent investment companies. He expressed confidence in the continued success of the partnership with Neuberger Berman. The collaboration between the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Neuberger Berman, initiated in 2016, was highlighted for its role in advancing Azerbaijan’s financial sector and widening international investment opportunities.
George Walker provided insights into Neuberger Berman’s global financial and investment activities and expressed contentment with the ongoing collaboration with Azerbaijan. He underscored the importance of the region’s economic developments to the company and mentioned that they are looking into expanding the partnership through new projects. Founded in 1939 in New York, Neuberger Berman is a global investment management firm managing assets exceeding half a trillion US dollars for international institutions, advisors, and individual investors.
