Tashkent: President Ilham Aliyev stated that Central Asia and Azerbaijan have emerged as a unified geopolitical and geoeconomic region with increasing global significance. He made this declaration at the 7th Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of Central Asia held in Tashkent.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev remarked on the active interaction between Central Asia and Azerbaijan, which has led to their unification as a significant geopolitical entity. He noted that despite Azerbaijan’s geographical location in the South Caucasus, the collaboration with Central Asia has elevated the region’s importance on the world stage.
The President also highlighted the successful cooperation among the nations within various international organizations. He emphasized their mutual support for each other’s initiatives and the development of common approaches to tackling global and regional challenges.
