Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev emphasized the importance of bilateral relations with Albania, expressing satisfaction with the development of ties and cooperation between the two nations. In a congratulatory letter to Albanian President Bajram Begaj on Albania’s national holiday, President Aliyev highlighted the foundational strength and ongoing expansion of Azerbaijan-Albania relations.
According to Trend News Agency, President Aliyev’s letter further elaborated on the significance of frequent interactions between the countries, underscoring the Azerbaijan-Albania friendship. He fondly recalled his visit to Tirana in May to attend the 6th Summit of the European Political Community, which he saw as a testament to the dynamic nature of their mutual relations.
President Aliyev expressed confidence in the continuation of joint efforts to bolster friendly ties and deepen cooperation in various sectors, reflecting the shared aspirations of the Azerbaijani and Albanian peoples.
