Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has stated that Azerbaijan has earned a significant image and reputation as a reliable partner on a global scale. In his address at the official opening ceremony of the 240 MW ‘Khizi-Absheron’ Wind Power Plant, he emphasized the growing importance of energy security in current global processes.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev highlighted Azerbaijan’s longstanding efforts in the energy sector. He noted that the country’s exports of oil, gas, oil products, electricity, petrochemical products, and fertilizers have created opportunities for numerous countries to secure their energy needs. The President asserted that Azerbaijan is positioning itself as a responsible and reliable partner in the international arena.
The President’s remarks underscore Azerbaijan’s strategic role in the global energy market, as the nation continues to expand its energy infrastructure and export capabilities.
