President Ilham Aliyev Highlights Armenia’s Missed Opportunities as Transit Country for Azerbaijan’s Resources

Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated that Armenia has deprived itself of becoming a transit country for Azerbaijan’s energy resources and transportation routes. This statement was made during his address at an international forum themed ‘Facing the New World Order’, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan’s transit routes, including oil, gas, and cargo, pass through Georgia instead of Armenia. He pointed out that Armenia’s policies, driven by occupation and aggression, led to this outcome. Aliyev argued that Armenia’s miscalculation of future developments resulted in the sacrifice of its economic prospects and real independence for the vision of a ‘great Armenia’.
