Tianjin: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Xie Yi, the Founder and Chairman of Sichuan Sunsync Photovoltaic Technology Co, in Tianjin, China. The meeting centered on potential avenues for future cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Chinese company.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions were focused on establishing a modern facility for solar panel production in the Alat Free Economic Zone. This facility is expected to meet the highest technological standards, with plans to export a significant portion of the manufactured products to global markets.
Xie Yi highlighted the positive investment environment in Azerbaijan and the strategic relations between the two countries as key reasons for the company’s decision to invest in Azerbaijan.
