Baku: “Today, by celebrating this remarkable event, we are both summarizing the work done and, most importantly, sharing our views on future plans. Let me say again that the creation of renewable energy in Azerbaijan is a large-scale project implemented by foreign investors,” said President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, during his speech at the official opening ceremony of the 240 MW ‘Khizi-Absheron’ Wind Power Plant.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev highlighted that to date, 100 million dollars have been invested in these projects. He expressed appreciation for the activities of both foreign and local investors and encouraged them to continue investing in Azerbaijan. The President emphasized that the state of Azerbaijan always protects foreign investment. He noted that many oil contracts have been successfully implemented over the years without any changes to the adopted decisions and contracts. This consistency, he stated, is a crucial factor in attracting foreign investors to Azerbaijan, underscoring the reliability of the Azerbaijani state.
President Aliyev assured that Azerbaijan’s commitments are steadfast, equating the value and legality of their word with their signature. He reiterated the country’s openness and reliability as a partner for foreign investors, emphasizing the unchanged and stable nature of their agreements and commitments.
