Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of Indonesia’s Independence Day, extending his best wishes to President Subianto and the people of Indonesia on behalf of himself and the citizens of Azerbaijan. He highlighted the positive trajectory of Azerbaijan-Indonesia relations, emphasizing the fruitful cooperation within various international organizations such as the Non-Aligned Movement, the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the D-8.
President Aliyev underscored the importance of further developing the relationship between the two nations, which is founded on mutual respect and trust. He pointed out the existing favorable conditions for expanding cooperation across political, economic, cultural, tourism, and other sectors. He expressed his belief in leveraging these opportunities to enhance the bilateral agenda.
President Aliyev also conveyed his confidence in the continued success of joint efforts to strengthen friendly relations, maximize the potential of cooperation, and deepen collaboration within international frameworks.
