Davos: President Ilham Aliyev has expressed hope that members of the European Parliament will find the courage to reevaluate what he perceives as an unfair policy towards Azerbaijan. During an interview with Euronews TV in Davos, President Aliyev highlighted the longstanding cessation of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Parliament, as well as the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev commented on the continuous criticism from the European Parliament, attributing it to biased perspectives driven by lobbying groups and forces opposed to Azerbaijan’s independent policy. He emphasized that Azerbaijan has shifted its focus to cooperating with the European Commission, which he considers sufficient.

He refuted these claims, highlighting that Armenia itself values its relationship with Azerbaijan.
