President Ilham Aliyev: Azerbaijan’s Accession to Central Asian Cooperation to Enhance Regional Interaction


Tashkent: President Ilham Aliyev announced Azerbaijan’s accession to the Central Asian states’ cooperation format during the 7th Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of Central Asia. The meeting, which took place in Tashkent, highlighted the importance of Azerbaijan’s new role in fostering regional collaboration.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed gratitude to his counterparts for their decision to include Azerbaijan in this cooperative framework. He emphasized that this move affirms the friendly and fraternal relationships among the nations involved. Furthermore, President Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan’s participation will contribute to strengthening cooperation and enhancing interaction across a significant geographical area.
