Baku: President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the importance of spiritual values in the relationship between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia. ‘The common spiritual values, religious and cultural roots and strong friendship that unite our brotherly peoples are among the key factors determining the relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia,’ he stated in a congratulatory letter to His Majesty Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King of Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the current level of relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, describing the partnership as reliable and founded on mutual trust and support. This sentiment underscores the significance both nations place on their shared values and historical ties, which continue to foster a strong bond between them.
