Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has underscored the vital role that trade unions play in Azerbaijan’s public and social landscape. In his address to the 8th Congress of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, he highlighted the unions’ multifaceted activities and their significant contributions to the development of labor relations and the strengthening of civil society.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the strides being made in Azerbaijan to safeguard workers’ labor and socio-economic rights. Efforts are underway to create favorable working conditions and enhance social partnership mechanisms. The president noted the importance of adapting to modern challenges, fostering strong connections with trade union members, digitizing services, expanding the use of artificial intelligence in relevant sectors, and improving service quality and satisfaction levels.
