Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, recently engaged in a telephone conversation with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, to discuss regional transport developments.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev underscored the significance of the newly agreed unimpeded transport links between Azerbaijan’s mainland and its Nakhchivan region. He emphasized that this development would positively influence the carrying capacity of the Middle Corridor, a crucial transit route, in the future.
