Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has issued an order to regulate key aspects of the transfer of the Shusha Hotel-Congress Center Complex to management under a contractual agreement.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the order endorses the Cabinet of Ministers’ proposal to transfer the Shusha Hotel-Congress Center Complex, which is situated in the city of Shusha and currently maintained by the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, to contractual management.
The directive requires the Cabinet of Ministers to ensure that the Ministry of Economy finalizes the management contract within a two-month timeframe. This process must adhere to the stipulations outlined in the ‘Regulation on the Transfer of State Enterprises (Objects) to Management on a Contract Basis.’ The Cabinet is also responsible for approving the contract once it is concluded and addressing additional related matters as specified in the order.
The Ministry of Economy is entrusted with executing the necessary actions as outlined in the presidential order to facilitate the transition.
