Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has declared the issue of restoring Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and gaining its global recognition as resolved. In his address on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year, President Aliyev highlighted the significant achievements made, both on the battlefield and diplomatically.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the importance of the victory achieved through the sacrifices of martyrs, stating, “We achieved a glorious Victory at the cost of the blood and lives of our martyrs on the battlefield.” He further underscored the international recognition of this victory, which was sealed at “the most authoritative place in the world – the White House in the United States – with the participation of the U.S. President.”
President Aliyev reiterated that restoring territorial integrity had been a top priority for Azerbaijan for 30 years. With the recent developments, he asserted that this goal had been accomplished and recognized by the global community.
