Copenhagen: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron in Copenhagen. President Macron extended his congratulations to President Aliyev on the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the progress made in promoting the peace agenda.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev thanked President Macron for his congratulations and highlighted the historic significance of the achievements in Washington, which were witnessed by the President of the United States, in fostering regional peace. President Aliyev mentioned that joint efforts are ongoing in various areas to further advance the peace agenda.
The meeting also included discussions on the current state and future prospects of the relationship between Azerbaijan and France.
