Suleiman Gasimov, who held the post of Vice-president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), was appointed economic adviser to the president of the company Rovshan Najaf on July 31. Gasimov will also continue to hold the post of Chairman of the Board of ‘Petkim,’ will remain a member of the Board of ‘SOCAR Turkiye’ and ‘SOCAR Ukraine.’ Yesterday, three more former SOCAR vice-presidents Khalik Mammadov, Yashar Latifov and Dashgyn Iskenderov received new positions in the company. They have been appointed as advisers to SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf.
