Baku: Over AZN 778 million were paid to Azerbaijan as bonuses last year under oil and gas contracts.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the bonuses were disclosed in the Order of President Ilham Aliyev concerning the execution of the 2024 budget of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The disclosed amount, totaling 778,216.7 thousand manats, was provided by investors involved in the signing or implementation of oil and gas contracts. This financial influx highlights the significant role of these contracts in Azerbaijan’s economy and the substantial contributions from foreign investors in the sector.
