Bratislava: An official welcome ceremony took place in Bratislava for the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, marking a significant diplomatic event. The ceremony was held at the Presidential Palace in the capital city of Slovakia.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, extended a formal welcome to President Ilham Aliyev. The event commenced with a guard of honor lined up for the Azerbaijani President, followed by the playing of the national anthems of both Azerbaijan and Slovakia.
The ceremony included a report presented to the President of Azerbaijan by the chief of the guard of honor, after which the two presidents conducted a review of the guard. As part of the formalities, members of both the Azerbaijani and Slovak delegations were introduced to the respective presidents.
The event concluded with the heads of state posing for official photographs, and President Ilham Aliyev signing the guest book, marking the end of the official welcome ceremony.
