Nursery-Kindergarten No. 1 Opens in Aghdam City with Presidential Attendance

Aghdam: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, attended the opening ceremony of nursery-kindergarten No. 1 in Aghdam city, which boasts a capacity of 160 seats. The event marked a significant milestone in the educational development of the region.

According to Azeri-Press news Agency, the construction of this nursery-kindergarten was executed as part of the ‘First State Program on the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan.’ The construction project began in February of the previous year and represents a key component of the broader restoration efforts in the area.

Earlier this year, in February, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the site to review the progress of the construction. This visit underscored the importance placed by the Azerbaijani leadership on ensuring the development of educational infrastructure in liberated territories.

The newly inaugurated preschool facility is designed to provide an environment conducive to children’s comfort and education. It is equipped with playrooms, bedrooms, and specialized halls for music, dance, and sports, ensuring a well-rounded development for the young students.

In conjunction with the resettlement initiatives in the liberated territories, there is a continued focus on constructing educational institutions. These projects are pivotal to the restoration and reconstruction efforts and hold considerable importance for the future of the region.
