Baku: In January-August 2025, Azerbaijan engaged in trade operations with 173 countries worldwide. During this period, the number of foreign trade participants was 54,013, comprising 43,965 individuals and 10,048 legal entities.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the number of individual participants in foreign trade activities increased by 7.2% compared to the previous year, while the number of legal entities saw a rise of 2%. Among the legal entities, 166 were state entities, with the remaining 9,882 representing the private sector.
The report highlighted that the volume of import operations during this period amounted to 15 billion 52.7 million US dollars, with 7,395 units of goods imported. Conversely, export operations reached a volume of 17 billion 65.4 million US dollars, with 2,560 units of goods exported.
