Baku: Four new firefighting vehicles have been purchased as part of the cooperation between SOCAR and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MES).
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the newly acquired firefighting vehicles, designed to meet modern requirements, have been allocated to the Oil and Gas Production Departments of SOCAR’s Azneft Production Union. The commissioning of these advanced vehicles aims to bolster fire safety measures at oil and gas production sites, ensuring a more robust and efficient response to potential emergencies.
The initiative is anticipated to significantly contribute to safeguarding lives and health, as well as protecting key production facilities. The collaboration between SOCAR and the MES is ongoing, with continued efforts focused on maintaining a high level of fire safety at production facilities and enhancing both technical and material resources.
