Beijing: The delegation of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), currently on a visit to China, has engaged in significant discussions with Xu Qinxian, head of the Eurasian Department of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The focus of the meeting was the elevation of Azerbaijan-China relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership, attributed to the efforts of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev and China’s President Xi Jinping.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, both parties underscored the exemplary relationship between Azerbaijan and China, which is built on a foundation of mutual respect and support for each other’s sovereignty. The discussions highlighted the multifaceted cooperation between the two nations, spanning political, economic, scientific, educational, cultural, and humanitarian areas.
The collaboration between the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) was emphasized as a pivotal aspect of this relationship. Reciprocal visits, such as the current one, are seen as vital catalysts for strengthening ties between the parties and their respective countries.
The meeting also reviewed the successful implementation of tasks from the cooperation memorandum signed during the YAP delegation’s visit to China last November and addressed other issues of mutual interest.
In addition to these discussions, the YAP delegation participated in the ‘China in Sight, Global Insight’ Forum 2025. During the forum, Hikmat Mammadov, head of the YAP delegation, delivered a speech focusing on high-quality cooperation for global peace, stability, and development.
