London: During today’s auctions, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of gas in Europe exceeded $390, APA-Economics reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, on September 23, the price of October futures on the TTF (Title Transfer Facility of the Netherlands, the most liquid virtual sales center in Europe) index was $390.7. This marks a 0.8% increase from the previous calculation price of $387.4.
The transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) began on December 31, 2020. This pipeline plays a crucial role in the supply of natural gas to Europe, contributing to the continent’s energy security.
