Baku:NATO Evaluation Level-2 (NEL-2) for two Mi-17-1V helicopters of the Azerbaijan Air Force has concluded successfully, as part of NATO’s Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC) Programme. The Ministry of Defense provided this information to APA.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the exercise involved helicopter crews conducting various operations, including the evacuation of wounded personnel, transportation of humanitarian cargo and personnel, and performing low-altitude flights. Additionally, the crews were evaluated on their ability to handle potential aircraft malfunctions.
The NATO evaluation team praised the capabilities and skills of the helicopter crews and the relevant units involved.
