National Hero Natig Gasimov’s Mother Passes Away in Ganja


Ganja: Recently, there were concerns about my mother’s health, Nofal Gasimov, son of Dursun Gasimova and brother of National Hero Natig Gasimov, told APA. He noted that his mother was suffering a lot: “Today, at around 6 p.m., my mother passed away. Recently, her legs had been paralyzed, and her condition was getting worse every day. Her legs were not bleeding, and she was lying in bed. She was suffering a lot, they said that both of her legs would have to be amputated. Then the doctors did not recommend amputation. They said that she was too old to bear the pain.”



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the national hero’s mother, Dursun Gasimova, born in 1942, passed away today in Ganja. Her burial is scheduled for tomorrow in Ganja. Nofal Gasimov also said that his mother had literally suffered a lot in recent days: “She lost her life from the pain, she suffered so much that it is not worth talking about.”
